Question of Real World Value

Hello Everyone...

This question is for both product/service creators and those who purchase said items and services.

When looking to create a product or purchase one. What are the things that you look for that equate to real world value?

We have all seen things that we wish we didn't. On the other hand we have seen things that completely blew us away and just had to click the buy button.

What are the things that separate one from the other for YOU?!

The product or service has to fill a need that I need done now. So if it was a plugin that made great sales pages and I needed a sales page then I would hit the buy button. But I have seen so many usless things for sale these days why buy?

      I completely understand that...

I love copywriters who can deliver! But the tool should at least work.

    Hi Raphael

I write this from a product creators perspective.

Someone once said, "If you want to be a marketing expert, just ask you customers what they want. They are already an expert at what they want!"

So the starting place for creating real world value is finding out what your market WANTS. Then give that to them. It's not enough to give them what they NEED. You have to know their wants.

That's where market research, the bedrock of all successful selling, comes into play.

So taking surveys from your target audience where you ask them questions that will reveal their frustrations, desires, needs and wants. Keyword research. Analyzing your competitor’s hot products or services to see what makes them so popular.

Doing these things will get you on the right path to providing products and services that give real value.

I recently wrote a short report that talks more extensively about creating and promoting products that your market will find valuable.

You can download it here. No opt in required.

To wrap up, as Neil Rackham of Spin Selling says, "If you can get the customer to say, "I want it", then you can say, "We can give it to you"."
    Hope this helps.
