What is the best tool for managing multiple Word Press sites?

I've seen many tools that allow you to maintain multiple Word Press sites via a common control panel. Most of them come with some very convincing sales pages.

I'd like to get some feedback from those of you who are actually using some of these tools. I figure there's enough personal experience on this forum to provide some solid recommendations as well as steer me away from those that don't deliver on their promise.

Any feedback at all would be appreciated.

For the most part there are a bunch solutions that are out there. Take a look at https://wpremote.com/

I have used the free version of https://managewp.com/ but don't like the confusing dashboard. It's near impossible to tell what comes with the free subscription and what is a premium tool until you click on it which winds up wasting a lot of time.

I now use Manage WordPress Sites from One Dashboard | MainWP and overall have been very pleased. One of the little things I don't like about them is that they do a lot of updates that are solely to set up the infrastructure for upcoming paid extensions. People are trained to install updates to avoid security issues and so they do these updates but the updates aren't bug or security fixes but for something else you may have no interest in.

Besides that small detail, though, I would recommend MainWP without hesitation. It just works and works well.

Thanks for the feedback guys! MainWP looks like a very powerful solution as does WP Remote. Mark's high praise for MainWP has me leaning that way.

I just started using infiniteWP I like the layout and you can add themes to sites and update plugins form the main dashboard for free. all you need is webspace to install it.

I started using InfiniteWP and then quit. My problem, and not sure whether it was the script, my host, or the operator (me) was I couldn't get the cron job working right.

So I gave up on it and switched to MainWP which seems to be easier to operate - at least for me.

I went with wpremote but some sort of conflict exists with some of the security plugins. nothing serious just an annoying nag box letting you know. I like wpremote as they are not actively seeking to sell me on extensions, besides you can try it out for free.. and depending on you financial level you can invest in a monthly arrangement.
