Hello Warriors

I am on the hunt for a domain name.

I use Market samurai normally to help me find my domains but its a pretty well tapped market that I am after.

I was wondering if a search term say "cheap widgets" is is searched for 1k times a day.

Idealy the domain cheapwidgets.com is the domain your after but if I take cheapwidgetsuk.com will that have the same effect??

What do you warriors think??

Cheers

Danny

Loading the keywords up front is better, and you might also consider using a dash. Unfortunately in today's market, everything is taken.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Use an X or a Z behind the name that will do well also.

If its a review of cheap widgets add review to it.

.net and .info rank high as well

what if you just scanned the meta tags for your competitors and make a domain from that. Assuming that the keywords are good and domain names aren't taken.

Make sure to follow advice from alleycat that review thing is huge.

At least you'll know what you're up against

Having your cheap widget 'suk' is probably not the best approach - I never read plurals with 'uk' tacked on the end in the way that's intended, and I don't suppose I'm the only one

Sticking 'today' on the the end has worked fine for me in the past - something like cheapwidgetstoday seems to give the content a more up-to-date feel. Provided that the last post isn't dated six months ago
