whiteboard animation video for clickbank?

I was wondering does anyone have any experience with using whiteboard animation videos on youtube to get views. I was going to get a whiteboard animation done, have it go to a landing page and then to the offer which btw has a whiteboard video already there was well. Can anyone with experience since I am new let me know if this is a good idea or not? Should I do some other type of youtube video since the offer has a whiteboard video as well?

    You can mix it and do a A/B testing by creating both whiteboard video and a real person video. Check the video running time and decide.

    It's a good idea if it's a good video. If it's not a good whiteboard video, it's not a good idea.

      Good advice from both Masterjani and Travlinguy.

      Whiteboard videos can work if they capture the viewer's interest and keep them glued to the tube - OR if they provide some good tips (or maybe one per video) and then invite them for more on your presell page (or optin page - where you give away your presell report).

      Of course, you can also send them to the actual sales page, especially if it's super compelling. But I'm still very much in favor of actually building a list because then you can send them to other products too later on...
