On same forum and other places I learnt about term Adsense sites. What does it mean? Blog or something else. Also Adsense is quite good to suspend account. I had a few ideas which I want to try with adsense. I need your advice:
  • Job posts' agreegator(Sources: Social Sites, Job Forums)
  • Fetching Images from Flickr etc and create a social kind of site

What stuff other than PORN I should not try. Any pointers?

Thanks

Why are you still in the "pre-2011" mindset. Fetching and scraping content together is rarely going to make you a dime.

WIth Adsense you either need a tonnes of traffic, or you need to have chosen buyer keywords to rank for on Google.

Even then, you might still get irrelevant ads. I make some money with adsense, but its not my main income source.

As a noobie I guess it's a good excuse to start earning. If you have some other ideas then do share me

I was banned from adsense after some "friends" though it would be nice to give me money every time they visit my site.

Like some said, you get banned from Adsense for life, like that.

Since then, I'm a fervent user of AdBlock, so I don't see ads anymore.

Read the TOS before you get started.

There are plenty of the rules.

Adsense bans but certainly not without a legitimate reason.

Like these other guys have said, Adsense does not mess around when it comes to their Terms of Service. I broke them once by accident 2 years ago, they disabled my account, held 2k in earnings, and I still don't have an account to this day.

Adsense accepts family friendly, content rich sites only. So if you are going in this direction, be sure your site is safe to view by anyone and contains the highest quality articles you can publish. Also experiment with best location on the page for your ads to see where you get the most clicks.

Yes, Adsense will ban your account even if you have not broken their TOS.
They ban your account not because there is a problem, but that there MAY BE a problem in the future.
    (Their words, not mine)
And, yes they will confiscate any money *owed you* prior to when they decided that your sites MAY be a problem in the future.

Not anyone I would do business with. Not that I can ;-) But I'd stay far far away.

Adsense is still great if you can choose high paying keywords for your sites.

There is such intense competition for these 'high paying keywords'. You really need to refine your blog's subject matter down so that it doesn't just cover every topic under the sun in that niche. In that way, you will draw a more devoted reader, someone who needs answers to specific questions. By concentrating on making your blog an authority site, with longer articles, you have a chance to increase not only traffic and position in Google search but earnings from Adsense.

An Adsense site is one that is usually based around a specific niche and contains informative articles. These sites are info rich and will cover a topic more in depth and offer little other types of external links that could distract a user.

Just a word of caution: I'd avoid scraping content from other sites unless you have permission to do so, otherwise you might run into copyright issues. That's another good way to get banned by Adsense. Best to use original content.

You most certainly can still make money with AdSense and MUCH more than just pennies per click if you choose the right keywords.

There are countless numbers highly searched, profitable service based keywords that you can build informational blogs upon. Use these high paying keywords to target local search for various services.

For instance build a blog about dental veneers then target those keywords by location, Dental veneers in Las Vegas.

AdSense sites still provide me with enough extra income each month that would easily pay for a nice family getaway.

You are on the right track but you are aggregating the wrong signals. You need to aggregate something that gets you BOTH traffic and buyers. This is easier than you think.

Adsense reduced the traffic as well as earnings for the last 1 year. I guess due to penguine rules the things happening.

Honestly, I don't like adsense. You can get your account snapped at any time without recourse, that's not sensible business.

I think if you are going to create content anyways for adsense, create some form of product to sell to the people who will read your content.

If you want to just create junk content for a few ad clicks, you are welcome to try, but its not a profitable business model.
