Internet Entrepreneur Wannabe - Any Mentors Out There?

First off, Hi! I'm new to the forum, though I've been aware of it for a number of years.

A number of years ago, we started a website for my wife, who is an artist. Along the the way, I came across Pat Flynn and Tim Ferris - paving the way from dreams of becoming a successful online entrepreneur. I'm finally at the point where I'd like to take a bold step forward and implement a few website ideas that I've toyed around with for years. Unfortunately, and despite the wealth of information out there, I still know little about the best way to take those first big steps. I have the idea, but not the applicable knowledge. While I love learning, it would take me days or weeks of research to really get to the point where I can create these websites. I'm interested in the idea of using Virtual Assistants to help in this process, but I would like to talk with someone that has experience building websites from scratch using VA's.

Is anyone willing to provide some guidance on how to actually move forward, or even mentor me? Thanks a ton.
