It depends in what you're looking for. If you know you will place a WSO soon or you want to get free information from IMers who are established, it's totally worth it.

Totally worth it. $20/ year is a small price to pay for the great content and freebies that you'll get. I don't regret being a War Room member.

I just answered your question in another post. Make sure you re-read all the forum rules. I deleted your last post because you were asking for a mentor, which you're not allowed to do in the main discussion forum. We have a mastermind forum and there are plenty of people who offer mentoring and coaching in the classified ads, Warriors-For-Hire, and WSO forums.

Your post before that was deleted by another moderator because you were also asking for a mentor.

What's not cool is coming to a forum as a new member and not taking the time to familiarize yourself with how things work here.

Rod just really quick I know I am new - In the future is there a way you can notify a person why you deleted a post. It is really frustrating when you get some feedback and then lose it all. A lot on this site - Just something to think about - Will

Will, you're not going to like my answer. We deal with hundreds of issues every day, it just isn't possible to contact every single person on why their thread (or post) was deleted.

Secondly, in the few times that we do contact people, more often than not, they want to argue with us. That's not a good use of anyone's time.

Moderating is not a personal thing, but people sometimes try to make it be. If all the mods contacted every rule-breaker, there wouldn't be much moderating getting done and people would be awfully pissed with all the spam and other stuff going on that wasn't getting taken care of.

If I see a trend or if the person made an honest mistake, I will most likely try and contact the member. I've been a member here over 14 years (under this account 10 years) and I still re-read the forum rules at least once a quarter because they do get updated and there's a lot to know.

Many posts get moved or deleted because they are posted in the wrong forum. I can't tell you how many posts about Youtube and Facebook I had to move over to the Social Media forum. And that's just one issue.

People posting just for the sake of promoting their website, business, or signature will have their posts deleted too. People asking for joint ventures, asking for mentors /coaches, etc. will also get deleted.

I hope that clarifies on why it's not feasible to contact / notify everyone who breaks the rules or gets caught in a judgment call.

As a side note: welcome to the forum and I hope you find what you are looking for here.
