Recommend Hosting

My current host (H.G.) goes down at least once a month, even though we are paying serious cash for VPS servers. I've had enough and am looking to switch.

Can't trust reviews out there because they all affiliate sites. Does anybody know of a reliable hosting company that has good customer service (that is not related to or an offshoot of H.G.)?

    Maybe I haven't paid enough attention, but I haven't had any problems with HG going down often. And quite frankly, the most attractive thing to me about them is their customer service efforts!

    Now, that being said, I haven't dealt with any others...I'm just surprised by your experience.

      I'm using Knownhost for more than three and half years and their customer services is the best so far. they try to respond immediately or within 5-10 minutes and talk very politely. from mid 2010, i didn't look back any other hosting company. btw i've not usedd HG yet.

        Hhmmm...if by this you mean via email, HG actually utilizes instant chat. That is what I really like!

    If your main problem is the uptime, have a look at http://www.webhostingstuff.com/ . They probably use affiliate programs to monetize their website, but they also provide uptime monitoring so you can find companies with solid uptime.

    HG is the best of all hosting I tried since 2002 so far and I even don't have a dedicated server.

    Try powervps or knownhost. I was a customer of powervps for 4 years and my brother was a customer of knownhost for 2. Never had any problems with either of them and both provide almost immediate customer support.

    I think my average wait time on support tickets between them was no more than 10 minutes... Even if I sent a support ticket at 3am.

    Why don't I use them anymore? I down-scaled everything. I use to host hundreds of sites because I focused on lead generation. Now'days I'm a coach so I only need 1 website which doesn't require a VPS.

    Believe me friend you might need to give a try to Knownhost once. i'm using their VPS from more than 3 years and its best experience so far. In the past i used, Futurehost, Myhosting and Mochahost (too cheap and the worst i used) but nobody can beat knownhost in services like VPS and affordable rates.

    I would also recommend posting on WebHostingTalk for recommendations to your specific needs and looking in their ad section. Their forum is web hosting specific (though there are a lot of good recommendations in this thread).

    I recently decided to change server host from HG as i had issues with them aswell and i moved to underhost which has turned out be a great move, reasonably priced, fantastic customer service which i think is better than hostgator who i was with for over 2 years

    Hey!

    For me, when hosting WordPress websites, WPEngine is my #1 choice. Hands down. The quality of their service is incredible, and I've yet to have a single issue with them.

    When wanting to host non WP projects, I'd have to recommend getting a VPS from A Small Orange. They also provide incredible service, and I've only one issue with them. Which they resolved within less than 10 minutes of me noticing it.

    This is my favourite topic (besides SEO), really enjoy commenting on these threads because we actively look for web hosting deals and have tried out quite a few host (thankfully haven't had any unpleasant experience)

    1. Check out WF Web hosting forum for some special Warrior Forum Deals. Look out for Croc Web and KingFish's Thread. Both of them are reliable WF member

    This should suffice for now, if you want a more detailed response I suggest searching up our other responses where I've gone through some detail discourse about each of the web hosting providers and how to gauge which one is best for you (they are all good though each can be slightly more suited for you depending on your needs/preferences)
