The Pay it Forward Thread-My friend & Fellow Warrior Needs Our Help

Hello Warriors,

I call this the "Pay it Forward Thread" because that is exactly what I am doing. If you didn't see the movie, "Pay it Forward", it's about giving something to someone else with the instructions that they will give something to three other people, who give something to three other people and on and on it goes, hopefully, never ending. The giving spreads exponentially like a virus.

I am constantly receiving help in the form of the excellent information I get here on the Warrior Forum and I want to help someone else out now.

My friend and fellow Warrior, KimW is very ill and needs our help and prayers. I knew he had kidney disease but he told me just last night that he also has prostate cancer. He also told me he couldn't work anymore and had to close his offline computer repair business.

Well, the family is now in financial trouble and unable to pay the bills and mortgage. I've been in the same situation myself and someone helped me out, so I am helping the Winfrey family out. I sent them a donation.

I hope you can feel it within you to also send this truly wonderful Warrior, man and his family a donation as well.

He has set up a blog that tells his story. There is also a PayPal donation link on the blog. It's in the 5th post from the bottom.

What Dan said is true. He and a few other Warriors were aware of some but not all of my health issues. And then last week I was given the news I have prostate cancer.
I was at my doctors this morning discussing the different options I have, which I am not going into here, tho I might on my blog. Yes, there is a donation link on the blog, yes,I am in a bad situation at the moment,especially financially,but I will not give up.
I have already thanked a few that have helped me either financially and/or spiritually but I have a feeling that after Dan's post I will have more names to add to the list.

I've just sent everything I have in my Paypal account to you - it's actually my first dollars that I got online. I think you need it much more than I do though - sorry, I can't give more but it's what I got. I hope it helps in whatever little ways it can.

Also, with regards to your blog, I wanted to leave a comment but I can't because I'm required to register. Did you make it that way?

Just a suggestion but would you like to make the comments open to everyone so it's better and easier for us to help you/leave comments? I think it'll help build up your site's credibility.

Not to say that you're trying to take our money but with more people leaving comments, I feel it really helps give you authenticity.

Yes, I did make it so you had to register to leave a comment,because I heard I would have to deal with a lot of spam comments if I didn't, But I just turned that feature off. so if you would like toleave a comment now, you should be able to. I've been online for years but am new to blogging.

I would hope no one thinks I'm trying to take anyones money. That's a lot of the reason I posted the pictures. The surgerys were very real. The hospitalations were very real.

It was very hard for me to do this. I've been a warrior for many years and have helped in the past when someone posted a situation like this.Now I'm hoping others will do the same for me.

Time will tell.

So about a week ago I was having a problem with my site. My connection where I'm at right now SUCKS and I couldn't load my files to my server. I posted here in the forum asking for someone to help out. Kim was the first one to reply. He said he was more than willing to help me out. I gave him the info he needed and before I knew it I was up and running.

My web page wouldn't be running right now if it wasn't for Kim and I'd still be twiddling my thumbs for the next two months until I could get somewhere that I could up load the files myself.

More importantly, it cost Kim extra time and hassle helping me out because part of what he was doing didn't work out like it was supposed. I was truly grateful for his help before. Now that I know how much other stuff he has going on I'm inspired by his generosity.

Kim I have a little surprise for you. I don't know how well it will work out, but I'll do my best. Let me know when you figure out what it is. Wish you the best, and thanks again for all your help.

No, I don't mind at all. I was just trying to give something back to those that helped me. I've gone into the site and made those posts private for now. I'll figure out another way to show my appreciation to those that help.

Yeah, you caught the tail end of the wind down before. I just gave it a make over and put it back up. It looks like it's doing alright so far. I'll give it a week or two before I put it back, but that should give you some nice results. And it's my pleasure to help out.
