It varies greatly depending on where the traffic is from, the offer, the copy, the market or niche, etc.

I've seen the range of 1/2 of 1% all the way up to 27% with my own offers this quarter. It really depends on a lot of factors. The answer to your question won't really help you with anything. It's now HOW much, it's the net profit and ROI that matters.

I get that! I was just wondering a very rough estimate based on just average search volume and competition.

There is no way to answer a question like that. There are just too many variables. I have had conversion rates as high as 80% and as low as 0. It just depends on the traffic and the offer mostly.

If you're trying sell eyeliner in Men's Health I'd say you won't get many takers, but then if you sold it in Cosmopolitan Magazine you would probably do much better. Put the right offer in front of the right audience and you will do well.

I don't think anyone can explain it any better than this contributor has. With the right product and targeting options conversion rates can be as high as 90% plus. With the wrong product and targeting options conversion rates can be as low as 0%. Your conversions rates will fall somewhere in between depending on the demand of your product, the way you approach offering said product and your targeting methods.

No such thing. The "average" of what? Some go with the "industry standard" of 1% or 1/2 of 1%, depending on what type of traffic you're referring to. By that notion you should get 10 sales with 1,000 clicks and again, it goes back to the quality of your traffic, your offer, and seriously, about a dozen other factors.

Getting an average of something that has a lot of variance isn't going to help you with anything.

It depends on the quality of traffic. If traffic is highly targetted then conversion rate will vary from 1% to 5%.Again niche is important from conversion point of view.Conversion may be high for one niche and it may not that high for another niche.

In the past I've seen anywhere from 1:10000 to 1:20. As said before, even a rough estimate is impossible to give in the general sense.

  • It depends on the type of traffic, your affiliates to the traffic, your copy and 1000 other factors. But if I had to guess I would say 20.

People seem to think it's all about targeted traffic. That's only part of the equation. If the copy sucks it won't matter. If it's a video sales presentation and the video sucks, it won't matter. If the product doesn't offer an affordable solution to a problem or meet a need, it won't matter. There is no average because there are too many variables.

I have a sales funnel that converts 1 of every 25 or so clicks.
I have another sales funnel that's received 100,000 clicks without making a sale.

It depends, if its an introductory product, if your list know who you are, ... lot of stuff. But I'd say 10%

No offense, but 10% is a total fabrication. As well as most all of the responses here have told you, there is no way to know with any degree of certainty, a finite number. That would be like asking how many stars are in the universe... No one knows for sure.
