What makes a landing page shine?

I was wondering if there are landing page professionals who could gauge the quality of my most recent landing page and offer any tips/advice. I'm generating great traffic to the page through social, adwords, and some key ad placements on high-trafficked forums, yet I'm not getting the conversion I want. What would I do to get some expert advice on my page?

HD graphics and LARGE lettering for elements / buttons that you want to grab attention.

Would you care to share your conversion percentage?

Usually the simplest squeeze pages with a good call to action convert best for me.

And also just use the email field, not the name field as this will also increase your conversions.

Though one thing thats nice about name field is then you can call them by first name, which helps with the 'make a connection' part.

You can never tell if you're landing page will shine unless you split test it.

Split test then choose a winner.

I've always used this guy's service for my squeeze pages and he has always delivered. One of my Squeeze Pages from them converts at 54% although after several testings from him.

But overall, he's really good and will help you improve your conversion rate. You can check him out here http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors...-visitors.html

Killer content! Call to action! The way you convince your readers why your service/product is better than others! Also I feel too much of graphics is not good. A reader may lose direction and get distracted.

+1 on this for me. I know myself when im a customer Im far more likely to optin if there is just a small amount of good content then trying to cram in lots of flashy stuff. So I apply that thought process as a marketer.

Have you done any split testing on your landing page? It's hard to say what works and what doesn't, since it really varies from offer to offer. It usually takes a simple, direct to the point with clear call to action.

Test different elements of your offer down to font color and even size. If you have a steady flow of traffic, you should be able to get some really key data in a short time. This is assuming your traffic are targeted traffic.

    1. No bold colors!
    2. NO blinking fonts
    3. It should be centered
    4. Headline should be catchy
    5. No blurred and low quality images
    6. Put arrows! Arrows will help you convert!
