Ok, ok so I know that this has been gone over a million times but i am at a lost end. My traffic stats have reached a plateau and I can seem to boost them

1. Twitter - Not converting
2. Article marketing - Low click through rate
3. Blog commenting
4. Building up a blog - still tiny numbers
5. SEO - Google not really noticing me yet.
6. Social Bookmarking - again tiny numbers.

I have been using PPC which is just expensive.

Would really appreciate some suggestions.

Thanks

    When you say "free traffic", it sounds to me like you want to also improve your search results. Are you working on some specific key phrases? Have you tries submitting to directories? Did you know it can take several months to get good results?

    Perhaps you can improve upon your existing techniques?

    If you get a low click-through rate for example, you could try to look and see why that is. Perhaps you need to add a bit more curiosity or a new incentive to get them to click through.

    Traffic can be difficult, but sometimes you just need to stick with something, success could be just around the corner....

      Hi Gwuido65

      I just like to help you. Please make a favour to you and answer these question for yourself.

      2. Article marketing - Low click through rate

      Why is it low? Have your articles a quality? Are they related to your niche? Where did you submit them to?

      3. Blog commenting

      That comments do have some value? Are your comments related to that blog or that topic? Are you spam?

      4. Building up a blog - still tiny numbers

      If your blog has a great value then submit it to the blog directories. Add RRS feed to your blog.

      5. SEO - Google not really noticing me yet.

      Did you make a search in the WF among the former SEO threads? Maybe the aswer for you is there. Do.

      The honest answer will help you to figure out what to do. I suggest some more free method:

      - Write quality press release and submit it to the Prweb dot com.
      - Participate in link exchange with others.
      - Start your own quality newsletter.
      - Create a product and give it away for free.
      - Create a Squido lens or Hub page or booth with link back to your blog.

      There is more than 100 way to get traffic to your site but I don't wan't to confuse you. Please keep in mind that the FREE traffic getting methods need some time until they bring results. Be patient and steady.

      Hope it helps. Many successes,

      Sandor

      Hi Mr McDonald,

      Maybe, do you mean incentive? Btw your suggestion is useful -- I was also suggested some similar above.

      All the best,

        Hi Gwuido65,

        Where are you?

        I visited your site. My notices, what may hold you back:

        - in the 'About us': your introduction is full of 'We'. Don't get me wrong but it seems to me bragging. As a customer I don't care whou you are. It would be better if your text contains more 'You' rather than 'We'. It's a psychology, apply it, would be worthy.

        - in the 'Testimonials': I wasn't able to find any. Besides I wouldn't mention to the customer I print their email address on my site (despite of the fact that you ask their permit to do this) because it is alarming.

        - also it would be help if your text would be faultless. Some example:

        formual -> formula

        wellbeing -> wellbeeing

        delievery -> delivery

        I hope it will help you some way.

        Many successes,

        Sandor

    I agree PPC gets costly on a day to day basis. I also found great advice with site fling for the money.

    Free traffic then Craigslist. But this can be blackhat.

    Just keep SEOing mate it will come.

    As for PPC then use PPV. It's much cheaper per keyword, im talking as cheap as 0.01c a click. Start with keywords first rather than sites, you'll see what I mean.

    I personally don't rate social marketing too well. Only for promoting for youngsters like the clubbing scene etc. Not really for people to buy products in my opinion.

    Hope this gave you a few ideas, PM me if you have any questions mate.
