Get Response:HTML VS. JS - Any significant loading benefits from either?

has anyone tested either method for loading times or just general benefits if using either one
(other than the fact of haveing less code on your html document)

    I think the HTML loads much faster... stick with it!

    yes, I prefer HMTL, mostly because javascript is used so often it seems like every page loads four or five javascript files, loading yet another one, on top of everything else to me is a invitation for a problem.

    HTML is preferably because sometimes users can disable js scripts and the js proceeds slightly different from browser to browser (in theory it should work identically, but this does not occur).

    Stick with HTML all the way. You want as few scripts as possible on page.
