I was thinking of optimizing my blog in addition to my main url page. But the issue is, the title will always change when i post a new article to my bog and i learnt titles are crucial to SEO and changing a title all the time is not in anyones best interest.

What kind of blogging software are you using? If WP - every posts will display its title on the single post view, not on the main page. So, I don't see where the problem is. | |

You can definitely optimize your blog for search engine traffic. To save time and minimize errors, I'd recommend that you use WP (if you aren't already) and install the "All In One" SEO plugin.

Yes you can optimize your blogger blog... not as easy as WP of course...
Yes your title for each post will change.. you should optimize each post for the keyword phrases you are targeting... For example.. Let's say I'm going after a quit smoking niche.. my main keyword would be "quit smoking" I'm going to create links in my posts back to my main url with "quit smoking" as the anchor text... Now all kinds of phrases are related to "quit smoking" that can be posts.. "quit smoking with chantix" "quit smoking with hypnosis" "stop smoking cold turkey" "nicotine replacement therapy to quit smoking" Each one of these posts will have the phrase "quit smoking" in the content which will link back to my main url. Then I would start on off site optimization by building as many anchor text backlinks to my posts as possible as well as to my main url varying the anchor text of course. Just a bit to get you started. |
