Membership Site Ideas to Complement Graphics Package?

So I'm putting together a huge graphics package geared towards internet marketers and want to offer a membership site as an upsell.

If you were buying a graphics package to use on your sales pages and websites, what sort of membership site would interest you as well?

Thanks everyone in advance, just trying to gather potential ideas!

First off a great package that you could offer as a WSO, something really sexy...wso graphics, cool vectors, sales page graphics etc. Give the buyer something really awesome in a dimesale. Maybe sell for around $10 and offer affiliates 75% to 100% on the front end, do an OTO with even more awesome stuff maybe at $17-$27 (dimesale again) giving affiliates 50% and then offer a membership for about $20 a month. If your product is good I'd buy it

Hi, thanks for the suggestions! What would you suggest the membership site be?

Do you mean the platforms or the actual content? If it's platforms them Wishilist is the most obvious choice working in conjunction with something like Optimizepress. If it's about the content, then only you really know that

Yeah I was looking for ideas on content. I'm just trying to brainstorm ideas for what works well as a membership site for people interested in the graphics package.

Well if you had really kickass graphics that you release each month then I'm sure you'd get a lot of interest and I for one would be a beta tester/customer. Look at what Brad Gosse does, I think he mainly sells packages, he's a sharp guy and I bet he's doing really well from it.

Sorry for the double post, but anyone think a PLR site would be advisable? Or some kind of training course?

    Thanks again

If I bought a great graphics package then I would expect the offered membership site to also be graphics based. Nothing else would interest me.

I realize this is just one person's opinion, but most of the graphics packages that come out (and there have been many over the past 5 years or so) consist of the same types of things.

Often they are composed of modules with different types of graphic elements, like buttons, arrows, icons, boxes, fonts, shadows, graphical numbers, bullet points, etc. Some add headers, Johnson boxes, site templates, ecovers and other things that go into offers and websites.

I would like to see some truly creative graphic designs made for things like display ads, marketing pieces, product showcasing, newsletter templates, book templates, report templates, etc. These could be done in layers so they could be customized by the owner for his/her specific purposes.

Anyone can throw some graphic elements together on a page - but I would like to see those with graphic skills really apply some true graphic design to some templates that would really stand out.

      Just my two cents . . .

Hey Steve, thanks for this! I have about 25 modules completed now, but I'm thinking I might go ahead and make 5 more modules based on your suggestion I want everyone to get as much value out of it as possible.

You can also look at offering well designed landing pages, sales pages or wp themes. You can even release a set of all those that comes in the same design, so marketers could easily throw up a complete sales funnel and have all their connecting sites looking the same.

Yep, I've made sure to include both squeeze page and landing page templates for marketers. Haven't thought about wp themes though. Good idea! I might just make a WP theme pack down the road since it seems like its own separate entity.

Give away a set of generic im graphics pack as a freebie to get them to register at your membership site, and promise them a wordpress theme every month for free...

then every month send an email telling them the new free wordpress theme is ready for download

and then when they login to download it upsell them on the other landing pages, squeeze pages etc for a small fee.

get them to log in then upsell the extra's with the hook that they are getting a complete themed marketing funnel.

you dont need to get them to pay a monthly fee for the themed funnel packs, mostly becuase your retention rate wont be that good, the usual case with PLR sites is that a lot of times the content for that month isnt of interest to everyone it only takes a couple of months where the product you released isnt of use to them amd they will cancel the subscription.

But if every month is a freebie with an upsell you will find they stay active and actually buy the upsell packs for those themes they will actually use.

It also gives you an active base to sell higher priced graphics sets (yours or as an affiliate) you can even have a larger upsell where they get the PSD files etc.

so they login to download the freebie, you upsell them the themed landing page funnel, then those that take that upsell can be upsold again with the professional pack with the PSD files (2 upsells for the price of one)

Graphics that are NOT IM based would be great too. My sites have crafts and children's stories and I cannot find graphics anywhere that I can use.

What sort of graphics would you find helpful then, Katie? I can't see demand being high enough for a children's crafts section, but I'd love to add in some general graphics for individuals like yourself to edit and customize for their sites.

No, crafts as in knitting, crochet, sewing, making jewellery, wire wrapping, and separately, childrens stories - moons and stars with faces, children in graphic, santa, tooth fairy, elves and faries, flowers, goblins, vampires ...

There may not be a big enough demand here, but have you looked at the amount of crafters on Facebook, Etsy or Pinterest recently? just one of the groups I am in has over 12,000 members and most of them craft. We pay to have graphics made individually because there are none available even in the royalty free sites. Just another market you could maybe look at.

Awesome, thanks Katie! Definitely looking into it for a release down the road.

New graphics released every month that are based on "what's working right now" would be cool. Meaning keeping tabs on some top IMers and doing very short case studies on how they use graphics in their current promos and what they might be trying that's new. Everyone is always looking out for the "latest and greatest."

    Hi dbong,

I would suggest a membership site that gives a basic training on how to use the graphics, basic editing, resizing, and other useful tips etc. I am thinking a fresh list of great resources each month (free and paid) would also be beneficial. Of course if you are charging a monthly fee then you should add fresh graphics each month, and hopefully they will not be new versions of the same old buy buttons, headlines, arrows etc. etc....

    Best of luck!

    Cheers

    -don

Thanks guys, these are some great suggestions. I'm leaning towards training and monthly (or maybe weekly) graphics as Don mentioned above.
