What is the biggest hindrance to your success?

Everyone want to make money online but most if not all of us have our own shortcomings and problems.

Let's consider the following factors that we need to have to become a successful Internet Marketer.

1. Money - the number one resource and I don't have to explain why.
2. Knowledge/Experience- another most important factor
3. Skills (programming, design, etc) - some people with skills can be very successful if they they know how to use their skills.
4. Drive and motivation - even if you have all the above factors, you can't be successful without this factor.
5. Consistency, patience, and perseverance - many people lost their business because they don't have these factors.
6. Time management - some people got sick because they keep skipping meals and can't be disturbed in front of their PCs for longer period of time.

Now let's have a poll....
Where do you belong?

I luckily don't have any of these problems but sometimes I can get distracted T.V. in background etc... I like to have some sort of noise going on or I feel like I am in a library T.V, Music, etc... makes working a bit more enjoyable as long as you can stay focused on the goals at hand I don't see nothing wrong with it

I think numbers 4 and 5 that you have listed are absolutely essential if you want to succeed in anything.

Hi Adie! I voted for the last option. Since I work at home, I can get distracted by so many things. I would have to agree with the first poster. TV is the biggest distraction at times. Then there are people who apparently will visit you at the perfect timing when you're chatting with a potential client.

TV is not my distraction as I am not fond of watching TV. I am working from inside my room and I don't have TV. The TV s in the living room. My biggest distractions are reading news in different news sites, wikipedia, youtube, and watching Korean drama.. lol

I'd love to have an office inside the house where TV and visitors won't distract me while working. But then, TV is always "ON" (well, most of the time) especially when I am not the only one living in this house.

      Oh yeah! YouTube!

      Korean drama? Lol!

It's extremely addictive.. lol.. try one if you have time..
Watch "gooddrama.net/korean-drama/secret-garden-episode-1" - if you have time and tell me after watching just one episode..

Watching NBA is another thing that kills my time, especially during regular season.

My reputation management firm now brings in 5 figures a month. It obviously wasn't always that way though. For me, I had the knowledge, the skills and some start up money, but the biggest annoyance for me was literally just not having enough hours in the day to do everything myself. The first damn thing I invested money back into were VAs to help out with the work.

None of the choices offered are true for the vast majority of people.

The #1 hindrance to your success is almost always the way you think.

  • I think the problem is relationship and commitment.

I really like to work on a team.

    It creates discipline.

You have to work, at that time, with these people.

    It will be more productive.

Most of us work alone and that is why we lose the desire.

    Money comes slow.

I am looking for someone to work together.

    It is really important.

On the contrary, always want and prefer to work alone when business is concerned. Having a good customer-seller relationship is different from having a business partner.
