Solo Ads and Giveaway

Is it better to give out 2 free gifts in your squeeze page or just keep it to one. I do not think the one will get quick opt-ins. Is giving out 2 seem desperate? The 2 would give a good combo giveaway but I don't want to do it though if it is not the best tactic. Comments?

I would say follow your inner guts, nothing wrong in giving 2 products as such. if you feel you can use 2 products in 2 giveaways, thats fine too.

Doesn't really matter but if you go for two make sure they are related.

The only real way to know the answer, is to test it and find out. Build a funnel that starts with 1 gift, and another that starts with 2. Split your traffic between them, and see which does the best.

I believe the funnel with 2 gifts will see higher conversions, but that doesn't mean those people aren't just looking for the free gift. Besides, there are much better things you could do with a second free gift.

    Hi,

If you think you can combine the 2 then try that.

I don't think people will think you're desperate.

    Don't over think this.

Run it through a TEST by sending some traffic through your funnel and track
your numbers and then tweak where required.

    The NUMBERS NEVER LIE!

Your results are what tell you what works and what needs to be dumped.

Don't worry about this too much. Building lists never stops anyway.

People will come and go even if you have the best offer in the world.

Just get it out there and start adding those names into your database.

You can always improve your set up as you build your lists.

I suggest you give the second gift in one of your email series. That way you'll get a sure click from your subscribers. But that depends on what you're trying to aim.

I'm not sure if it's really necessary to gve away 2 gifts actually. If you are giving away something of value and have a good call to action on your squeeze page then this shouldn't be a problem to get good conversion rates.

Something i would suggest though is to create an extra squeeze page and use an exit redirect. If they don't want the first gift then thye might want the second gift. I think that would be better to get the highest conversions as possible.

  • I try new idea for solo ads all the time, and the simpler it is the better, I would stick to one thing that you offer and one thing online. I have tried multiple but I can't get it to work.

I would offer them 1 giveaway on your squeeze page and nothing else.

You can then give them additional prizes/giveaways when you send them emails.

Now a days rebate is more effective than offering free gifts.

It's all about effective copywriting, phraseology and psychology.

You can give 100,000,000 gifts... Or one gift. (Or nothing at all).

My advice? Focus on a really awesome message, with excellent copywriting that prompts your end user to take precisely the action that you envision. Whatever that may be.

Hello, why don't you give out one free gift and another "gift" that is somewhat monetised?
