Looking for the best page to upload text files
I'm starting a blog about creative writing, which should encourage users to post their own fiction writing (snippets) in the comments section. Readers should upload their texts to a page (but which one?), then post the link in the comments section.
I have looked long and hard on google, but it seems like the ideal uploading page is hard to find. Problems I encountered:
- awful looking design (design should be as simple and neutral as possible)
- "expiration date" default setting to "1 year" (if users have to switch it to "No expiration", that's an additional step for them to take)
- when displaying the texts they have grey background (harder to read with black letters)
- copy/pasting doesn't work flawlessly, user has to copy/paste into an additional box that's opening, and then all the formatting is lost
I like this site, but it has the "grey background" as well as the "expiration date" problem:
