How to advertise my cosmetics and face care blog?

Write articles on your blog about cosmetics and face care, go to other blogs about cosmetics and face care and post comments,use forums...

Forums like this (put a link in your sig), social networking sites (twitter, myspace, facebook). Add yourself to blog directories as well as general site directories like Yahoo. Also, comment on other's blogs leaving a link back.

Endless possibilities here... Just a few ideas for you to think about:

• Produce some video content. Get in front of the camera and shoot some videos of yourself applying makeup. Provide tips, review products, etc. Send the traffic from video site to your blog.
• Write articles. Same topical theme here. Post articles to your blog (don't forget to ping, link, and social bookmark), and also submit spun variations to article directories (link and social bookmark these).
• Comment on related blogs. This is fairly easy to understand. Add value to a post by providing substance in your comment. Go get Comment Sniper. It's free and alerts you when the blogs you choose make new posts. Allows you to comment first. Needless to say, it's pretty useful software.

Why don't you leave it at that for now? Create a manageable plan to carry this out and you should see some results fairly shortly. Here's something fairly reasonable:

• Try to make 1 video every 2 days, and upload to a couple video sites.
• Write 1 blog article a day, and write 1 article for submission to article directories (spin this article 3 times)
• Build links to your blog (5/day). Check out Angela's WSO for high quality backlinks. Once your articles are live, build 5 links/day to each.
• Make 10 blog comments/day.

Try that for two weeks and see what results in brings you.

What's important here is to make sure you're creating realistic blocks of work for yourself that will certainly bring results, but not be so overwhelming that you won't follow through with it. Again, there's so many traffic generation methods. Schedule time for the above-prescribed tasks daily, and stay consistent. You'll see traffic come in. Oh, and keep learning! Gotta make time for that too...
