Need advice for an online gaming community

Hello, I am interested in creating an online gaming community targeted to League of Legends players. I recently purchased hosting, domain and installed WordPress. My plans are to grow a large community base and when the game is slowly declining, I will create another community focused on something bigger and better and promote it with my forum + mailing list.

Example of what I would like to do:
Reignofgaming.net
Mobafire.com

My questions are:
1. How do I earn money from an online gaming community that is focused on one game? (League of Legends is the most popular game at the moment)
2. Is this idea profitable?

    HI.I would think for that kind of game a facebook group would be easier. But I could be wrong. Earning money shouldn't be your focus until you get it going and have people on there chatting consistently. Most forums use ads to earn their profit. Since it's a new site ; you could use CPA ads while you gain momentum. Sounds profitable but won't be an instant profit.

    Both your example sites are huge; and one is general gaming.

    Maybe you could write a book on that game instead? Then you could sell it on both the sites you mentioned above.
