Paypal Business verification - what documents needed?

I would like to upgrade my Personal PP account to Business account, but I am wondering about how this process goes.

What documents does Paypal require when verifying a business? Do they only ask for incorporation/ownership docs, or they ask for accountancy/annual reports etc also?

For me personally ... i only had to send them a copy/screenshot of my ID document, proof of address - copy of a latest bill (ISP bill in my case) addressed to my name!

Also since the yearly payment limits ... i had to explain from where all the money comes!
Explained them that i work as a freelancer ,providing various services online and therefore getting paid directly via paypal. What networks i´m part of ( fiverr ,elance , envato ) .etc

Also explained that i do affiliate marketing - the products that i promote have affiliate commissions and paid via paypal! Again the networks ( Warrio+Plus / JVzoo .etc ) and also took screenshots from these affiliate networks -affiliate panel - last 30 days total commissions!

That was the second time i had to go through the paypal verification proccess and upgrading to premier plan! Currently i don´t have any limits displayed on my PP account!

The first time verification was with the personal PP account and case was yearly limit reached!
I believe it was $2.500 ! Back then i only had to send them my ID document copy and address verification.

    Hope that helps you!

Edit: this was for Premier account upgrade/verification!
Would like to recieve some feedback for Business upgrade/verification aswell.

    Hmmm,

I personally dont use paypal so I wont be the best person to answer this question but why not call paypal representatives and ask them directly. That will be the best answer to the question i think :-)

If it's sole proprietor, I'm pretty sure all you need is your SSN. I could be forgetting something though; it was a while ago.

If I remember correctly, they did not require any documents from me. But it may differ from country to country. Just check the "Upgrade" page and I am sure you will see all the details you need to provide.
