New WF Banner Ad Options.

There are seemingly more advertising options popping up here since the merger with Freelancer.com.

First was the addition of the option to "sticky"your WSO (which I never tested [yet] since, at $200, it makes more sense to buy a banner).

Now, if you look, there's banner slots at the BOTTOM of the pages aswell. These cost $50 for 24 hours..

At that price, I'm gonna test it - no brainer. Has anyone tested it..... results?

SIDEBAR: it still blows my mind that Banners are CHEAPER than WSO sticky posts, given the LOW ORGANIC TRAFFIC in the WSO forum)

    I don't agree with there being low organic traffic in the WSO forum. I had a launch in the last 6 months that did over $100,000 in sales 100% from organic traffic in the WSO section. The traffic is absolutely there.

      Wow, congrats on that launch. There IS traffic there... but not as much ORGANIC traffic as there once was. More and more of the traffic is affiliate traffic to specific offers.

      As for your launch...... yes, that can still happen. You must have "done your homework" on WHAT to offer, had great copy.

      Did you use banners to facilitate that...... or any OTHER methods of advertising?

    On the topic of the banners. We used to be able to click a link under the banner and see all of the current banners. That's gone away.

    If they would put it back it would be good for both ones like me who like to "shop" and for the banner owners. I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't wait to see all of the banners by way of rotation.
