New to internet marketing

Hi guys and girls,
Im pretty new to internet marketing. I started a blog about 3 months ago. I have done a little bit here and there but never too much work into it. I've been doing lots of research the last 3 months and I think its about time for me to make a move to make some money online. My day job seems to get worse everyday lol. I have learned so many new things that I should be doing but Im just not sure what process I should go about it. I have about 50+ articles on my website and my traffic is starting to rise nicely. I have a few affilliate links up there but it has been nothing serious until now. Im devoting this next 3 months to making some money from the site. Well the reason for this post was just to get some advice on how I can improve my set up. The links on the side column are affiliates and random throughout the posts. I will be updating the affiliates Im using the next few days and actually do some articles on some of the products.

Thanks,
Travis

          Hi !

          Very informative blog.
Have you published articles to the major article directories like ezinearticles or goarticles, ... ?
You are getting a lot of traffic from this sites, when submitting articles with the right long tail keywords.
To get more traffic you have to generate more backlinks to your site.
Build some more blogs, squidoo lenses or hubpages pointing to your main blog. Do social bookmarking.
There are also some sites, where you get strong backlinks like Zimbio (a truely SEO optimized page, which Google likes) or Quizilla (.com). Quizilla is one of the most under estimated sites but perhaps more powerful than squidoo and hubpages. Write some keyword optimized article in the "My Journal" section.

Make your own wiki (wiki . dot) or at wetpaint.

Also a way to create backlinks is web2.0 at sites like digg or propeller (PR8 / PR7 sites).

I also prefer twittering - its a must have tool in your marketing arsenal.

A lot of these actions can be fully automated (= it costs).
Contact me for more infos, because at the moment I'm not allowed to post links (not enough posts :-) )

          Mark
