Products ready - how to deploy?

Hi warriors,

I am somewhat of an expert in the fields of diet and strength training (not saying I'm world class or anything but I know my stuff)

After a lot of research and thinking I have created two products with backup products -

The first is a diet e-book (pretty original content) with a recipe e-book

The second is a strength training e-book (again reasonably original content) with a simple workout plan to backup.

The idea is to create a subscription based service whereby people pay a certain amount of money to be provided 1 to 1 tuition on both diet and strength training.

Of course there are a lot of other excellent books which I personally advocate that have great commissions as well as other affiliate offers I can also promote to my list.

So how to deploy my products? Had so many different ideas running through my head -

A blog (I don't really want to have to provide content every day)?
A squeeze page followed by product delivery after confirming email?
A website with the products offered in a sidebar in exchange for email?
A website with a pop over where they need to enter their email to access the site?

The thing that complicates it is that I expect some people to come through the "diet" angle and some to come through the "fitness/strength training" angle - although of course the two go together to create a healthy lifestyle but I need to offer them first the thing they thought they were coming to get.

Any advice, as always, much appreciated.

    Well first of all,

In my opinion you want to get that badboy on ClickBank. Last I heard Mike Geary the author of Truth About Abs was averaging $1,000,000 a month from CB sales. So providing the content is as good as you say it is then try and get some affiliates.

Even if you only make a fraction of what Mike makes you'll still be doing pretty darn good.

Then take a look at what Mike Chang does with Six Pack shortcuts. He has a massive youtube presence. Maybe something to think about doing yourself.

Also Elliot Hulse is massive on youtube.

Just some ideas from people who are obviously doing extremely we in this niche.

    Hi,

Yeah for your kind of niche I would recommend you go and check out
    ClickBank.

They cater for a wide range of niches and you can set up an affiliate plan
of action too and that is where you'll be able to make a ton of sales off
the back of those affiliates who promote your products for you.

You may want to be GENEROUS and offer 75% - 100% commissions to those
affiliates to get some real momentum going with your new launch.

Then once you have steady sales coming in you may want to drop those numbers
and see some money yourself at the front end of your product set up funnel.

Affiliates can play a key role in your success.

But you have to make things EASY for them and give them what they're looking
for in terms of a good set up with great commissions too.

The products are good, solid products but they're not magic bullets - they are solid guides to weight loss/nutrition and strength training that will 100% work if the user puts the effort in. Magic bullets in something like strength training are simply BS and I want to offer value.

So do you think selling them as an affiliate offer would be more beneficial that giving them away free to build a list?

Traffic is still a major stumbling block for me - never had to generate it before.

I own and manage my own offline production company. I'm about to take the big plunge into IM my own new product.

        No!

What I meant was uploading your products that you want to sell at Clickbank and then using a generous affiliate program to attract those affiliates.

Then of course if you want to give away parts of that course to build your lists
then you can do that too of course.

So you'll still need to drive traffic to your FREE offer so that you can build
        your lists.

The affiliates side of things comes from within the C.B. platform where affiliates
can promote your main offer and make money partnering up with you.

Ok my mistake but yes that makes sense, thank you.

The backend course which is essentially email coaching I could of course give away generous commissions for and clickbank seems like a good traffic source for this niche.

          Appreciate the help

True as this may be, your product needs to sound compelling to the visitor or no one will buy. And many visitors are looking for the magic bullet, the magic pill, the no sweat workout, the easy as pie thing that makes the fat melt off type of diet, etc.

I like something I think Paul Myers says about this. It's something like tell them what they want to hear (easy, fast, simple, cheap, etc.) but give them what they need while making sure that your sales copy isn't a lie.

Even infomercials like T25 which says you'll work your butt off hard with no rest, are full of hope, and they even make it clear that the hard work is only 25 minutes. There are gorgeous women and handsome men that have melted the fat off and buffed up in only 25 minutes 5x a week. So yes it's hard but they make it sound like you can do it and most importantly that you can get that beach babe body in only 25 minutes.

        Hope that makes sense.

        Mark
