How Can I Use SEOQuake Without Google Banning Me?

I was reading the reviews for SEOQuake for Firefox, and a lot of people were saying that after using it for a few times, google banned their IP address from doing searches. Apparently SEOQuake violates their terms of service.

How can I use it without Google banning me? What do you guys do to get around this?

Don't use it all the time in search results, only when you're doing serious keyword research. Also, set the number of results to process to 5 or less when you're doing this research. This should avoid the temporary IP ban you'll get if you overuse it.

To use it safely go into the prefrences and set everything to manually request.

Then when doing a google search just click the ? button at the top of the results page to get the details for the top 10 results, so all the link info and all the pr info.
