How I Reply to Spam Scammers on the Warrior Forum

So I just got this spam message in my inbox.

Hello
Are you interested in a free internet marketing lesson?"
Here was my reply:

"From a guy PMing me on an internet marketing forum that has only joined in 2013 with the username [deleted] and an image of a laptop with money flying out of it, and a cheesy as hell snake oil peddling signature... but with a free gmail address - no.

Good luck with life n stuff."

I'd suggest not replying but to report the PM to a mod.

I did report him, but members are also moderators and when someone is so blatant in their scam they need to be told they have been caught, named and then shamed.

Reporting spam PMs are essential to keep the forum clean
        But
telling the spammer that he is an idiot is also essential (at least he would know people on this forum are mature marketers to spot suspicious things)

Well, I agree with your reply in general...

But there is a question I must ask...

Since when is someone's success in Internet Marketing determined by the year he joined Warrior Forum?
Just because someone doesn't need 5 years to get things going doesn't mean he is a scammer / isn't successful.

    Just my 2 cents.

Dude I dont entertain the compassionate philosophical moral thinking about these types of things.

If your 3.6 million dollar per year business model relies on sending spam messages to people on forums and you use an image of a laptop with cash flying out of it, and yet dont even have a website or your own email address... you deserve to be told your an idiot and to have that shared with the world on the forum.

Of course, your detailed response could also be taken as a lesson on how to scam more effectively.

You listed the things that triggered your response for him. Now all he has to do is change those things before resuming his spamming ways...

          I agree, report not respond.

I reply by clicking that little triangle. Wasting a minute replying to spammers is a minute lost from your life, that will you never get back.

I did report him, but members are also moderators and when someone is so blatant in their scam they need to be told they have been caught, named and then shamed.
They can give two spits if they've been caught, they receive emails like that by the thousands. They will just continue to copy and paste till someone takes the bait.
