Why Should You Not Clear Cookies?

Hey all,

I have heard quite a few IMers saying that you shouldnt clear your cookies or you wont get paid by clickbank? Is this true? Why should you not clear your cookies?

Should I clear my cookies?

You can clear your cookies...

Unless you are buying through your own affiliate link... Then don't or you won't get commissions. But if you don't plan on buying something through your aff link then do it.

I do it once a week or so.

You can do whatever you want... you don't want OTHER people clearing their cookies, since you may not get your commissions if they clear out the cookie with your ID on it.

EXACTLY. You want your cookie on their computer for as long as possible, most don't expire for some time, some 15 days, 30 days even up to a year You can clear yours away whenever unless like someone said you are making a purchase then you want to make sure you use your link directly if you have cleared cookies.
