Just found a lot of free stuffs in WSO forum

Yeah, I mean it. There's a lot of free stuffs out there if you are shameless. I'm tired of these people asking for reviews through PM even if your service offer is several years old already and you are not offering free review copies/contents anymore. And after checking the newly posted WSOs, the same people keep asking review copies even if the seller does not offer anything in public. These people are lurking around here just to ask free review copies.

No offense but I don't really think this is a good idea...

    Asking for review copies is against the rules and can result in being banned. If you see someone asking for a review copy, report their post.

      That's because these people have alarm system. When someone posts a new WSO, they do not read the content. They automatically ask for a review copy.. lol

        Also, if someone wants to review WSOs they should look in the "Wanted - Members Looking To Hire You" sub section of the WSO forum. Often times when vendors are offering review copies they'll post a thread in there with [Reviews Wanted] or [Reviewers Wanted] at the beginning of their thread title.

        As a shortcut, just use the advanced search function to search only that section and use [Reviews Wanted] as the keyword to search post titles. Also try [Reviewers Wanted] as the search keyword.

        Just make sure you're reviewing WSO's that are relevant to what you're looking for and give an honest, thorough, and properly disclosed review of the offer. Review copies of WSOs are about an exchange of value, not cheapskates getting stuff for free.

      That one is almost as good as someone asking for a refund on a free wso. haha Yup, it actually happened. That must have been one bad product.

    Just go to sleep at night safe in the knowledge that the people going around asking for review copies of $17 products are never going to get anywhere in this industry. They have the wrong mindset right from the start. They may as well go back to the daily grind and save themselves a few wasted years of trying to make it online.

    Sad but true.

        I find this humorous. The very nature of somebody who steals, or begs, or lies does not allow that person to withstand challenges very well. ... that would certainly qualify somebody as a lost soul. Unfortunately.

    There is give and take when it comes to review copies. The publisher wants to get feedback from experienced users on the forum. That adds to the product credibility as well as gives a valuable feedback to the publisher to make enhancements to the product. I think that is a good community work.
