Any info marketers outside IM/MMO niche?

Just wondering if there are any real info marketers here on the forum outside IM/MMO niche?

I like to know which traffic source works best for you to sell your products?

And which affiliate platform: clickbank, jvzoo, etc.?

    I'm outside IM/MMO. What works for me is Facebook ads to get likes and email subscribers, and sell by email after sending awesome freebies.

      My main niche isn't IM related. I've done very well with Pinterest, it's a visual niche. It took time to build the profile but it paid off. I also use YouTube and Facebook ads. But ultimately....all of that has been to gain email subscribers; that's where I make the most sales.

      (it's a visual niche, but I do sell information)

      Hi Gec,

      Thanks for your quick response. It is good to know that people here are on different niches too as I believe the mmo niche is getting a lot of crap and scams.

      So are you capturing leads through fan pages or direct ppc ads on FB?

      Also are you running an affiliate program and are there any affiliate bringing you sales?

        I get 'likes', both organic and paid. I post links to blog posts. On the blog there are many sign up boxes. I also send paid traffic to lead capturing pages.

        I'm an affiliate myself, I'm not running an affiliate program (yet )

    A lot of warriors make money online with non IM & MMO niches.

    Search engines, social media, forums, blogs, etc are their traffic sources.

    I'm in 3 non MMO niches - one with broad consumer appeal, one that's a narrow B2B niche and one local niche with a few clients.

    Traffic sources vary according to the niche.

    Broad consumer niche: Facebook, Pinterest, Bing Ads, Outbrain, YouTube, SEO, Tumblr

    B2B: SEO primarily

    Local: Adwords, Bing Ads, SEO
