An Open Apology to Vegas Vince

I received a PM from Vegas Vince letting me know that I had insulted him via a recent post I made about a scammer. I indicted him via guilt by association.

That was never my intention and I WAS NOT insinuating that Vince, or anyone else, in any way endorsed this particular scammer. He was unaware of this persons identity at first, as was everyone else.

Vince, you have my humblest apology! If that post insulted or made anyone else feel bad, I apologize to you, too! Again, that was not my intent.

My whole purpose was to remind people to be careful about adding people they don't know to their list. Is adding people you don't know to your list a crime? Not at all and it probably won't matter at all... but you just never know. I have worked very hard to develop my reputation and I wouldn't want to jeopardize it by making a small mistake.

I guess I should have taken the positive approach and said that you should never judge someone. I believe in giving respect FIRST... until they show me different.

By taking the negative approach, I inadvertently indicted innocent people who just gave someone the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong and, again, I apologize!

BTW, I can honestly say that I have never received a more respectful, polite PM from someone who was angry with me! Vince obviously knows how to deal with people. Thanks, Vince!

No, I think Vince had the right to be angry. This whole thing was my fault and I implicated him without thinking.

Again, I just wish everyone would respond with the graciousness that Vince showed when he sent me the PM.

Honestly, I haven't always agreed with the tone of some of the things Vince has posted on the WF but I now know, without a doubt, that Vince is a stand up kind of guy! If we had more people with Vince's way of handling things, the WF would be a far better place!

No need! It's all good and I have moved on down the road! Nothing is needed from Vince. I just wanted to apologize publicly and now I am on to other new adventures. I've heard that there is a mighty wizard that lives in the Emerald City that can help me make oodles of cash and I'm going to find out. Probably just another man behind another curtain, though! It doesn't matter because it's all in the journey NOT in the arrival!

I've known you for what I believe to be a very long time, and I've never seen you respond negatively or get wrapped up in the negative stuff.

Yes they do. But I believe that people who strip harmless hamsters should be left in a very small cage with a horny orangutang that has bad personal hygiene.

Hmm. We started the thread with a great, classy apology from Mr. Sutton and because this thread involved Vegas Vince and Kevin Riley we ended up with strippers, stripped hamsters, an organgutang with bad hygiene and a worn-out Paris Hilton..

And THAT is why I keep coming back to the Warrior Forum!
