Hi Warriors, So I have finally been through the process of creating my product (online videos), working on building my list, and now getting closer to the finished process/product.....here is my questions, i have researched but still don't know the best answer.... My product are 8 (45 min) online tutorial videos. Am I better off using E-Junkie and sending them a download link (woulnd't that take the normal person too much hassle for big files to download, and ask for a refund?) or do what Eben Pagan did on his wake up productful and just post them on a private site with a password and give them access? With the second option the thing that comes to mind, is how to prevent people from passing around the credentials to the website to get in ect? Bottom line, what is the best way to deliver these online video's after purchase? Thanks! |

Yes, this is the constant challenge. How big is too big? If you decide to have them online for people to access and view then use Wordpress with amember. Amember prevents people from passing the username and password around. If any more than 3 different IP's try to access, it shuts that member down until further notice. How many meg is the entire course? Dale |

WOW! Yes that's too big. I'm just about to release a download course and I was worried about 429meg for the whole course. What's the market? Baseball? Doesn't it warrant having a physical product instead? |

yea, its baseball recruiting for high school players wanting to go to college. They are camtasia video's made with movie maker. Would it be better to put them on cd rom's and audio and sell them through a fullfillment house? I just wanted to keep the process as easy as possible and online product is obviously much easier then physical.

Yes, physical products do have there challenges however they can have more perceived value. Perhaps check your rendering settings with camtasia to get the size smaller. (perhaps a slow frame rate) I just rendered a 78min video to 179meg. It's still quite large but it's not 500meg. The other way to do a physical product, is to put all the huge files onto a USB key with workbook and mail it to them. That way it's light and can be transferred to their PC with ease. Anyway, just a few ideas to consider. Hope this helps, Dale |
