DLGuard/Aweber question

Do you have the customer double opt-in? Is it even possible to have single opt-in with the aWeber/Dlguard setup?

Thanks in advance,
Steve

You are better off using Getresponse. You can do it with single optin and have true integration with DLGuard that way.

The latest version of DLGuard (4.5) allows you add your customers to your Aweber email list automatically!

yea, i set it up with dlguard 4.5 already. i just didn't know if aweber would let you turn off the double opt-in feature. i found the "off" switch though, thanks.

    Hi Steve,

I'm not 100% sure on this - it'd be worth checking with Aweber. From what I understand, no Aweber still require double opt-in, but while checking something for a client this afternoon I ran a sales test, and I was added to his list without confirming.

So my best guess is that it depends on how your list is set up - if your whole list requires double opt-in or not.

Basically DLGuard just gets the info to Aweber automatically, but I haven't had too much to do with what happens to it after that - that was Aweber's part of the project

Codepoint, in your second sentence, did you mean to say "DLGuard", or "Aweber"?

    cheers
    Sam

I might be wrong about this, but my understanding is that you can turn any Aweber list to single opt in provided that it hasn't had any double opt in subscribers yet.

I checked Aweber forces double-optin with DlGuard.
I am really upset. I am thinking of moving to get response.
