Mentorship has brought me success
Of course, everyone is in their own unique situation. So it's doubly hard to truly change the way somebody works and lives.
But....
Absolutely anyone can benefit from having someone to follow. It's why professional sports stars have their own coaches. See Wimbledon for an example - all the players have their own physical fitness and motivational coaches behind them. If it isn't bringing them success - they move on and find a new coach.
However I would advise you shouldn't hop from mentor to mentor, as this only distracts your focus once more.
The whole point of a mentor is to have someone there to ask questions of, and to nudge you when you go astray. Not sure if this is the right course of action? Look to your mentor. He/She has been there, done that. They know what works.
I myself took up the coaching program of Alex Jeffreys back in November 08. I had a technical problem with my blog a while back (doh), so I have relaunched it recently.
But I have had success - where there was none before, and I am grateful. All because I had someone to back me up and inspire me. I've recently blogged about this topic and would love to hear comments from the fine folks here at WF
