Hi Kiev,

I have Cover action Pro but was looking for newer action scripts that create those rounded corner boxes and stuff. It's that new age look.

Sorry, I guess I should have made that clear in my original post.

I'm wondering the same thing. I have coveractionpro as well, but the version I have doesn't create some of these new boxes with the rounded corner. You're meaning something like this right?

I have a standalone product that makes those boxes. It's called Cover Expert. It isn't an action script though, its separate software. I believe I paid $50 for it.

Yeah you have to make the images first. For example, I designed the front cover and the side and then put those into the software. If you need some custom designed, let me know.

Ok - I've got cover expert now - it's a neat product, but it doesn't look like it will make the same box as the first one above. Notice how the first box above is curved all the way around in the back. This one does not curve all the way around, but is angled off in the back, like ryan's box. There must be another program out there that does the curved boxes and "ice cream" boxes.

Are you talking about the back edge of the spine? That's true, I guess Cover Expert is a little different than the first picture on here. I included a pic of the top view so you can see it.

It must be the angle of the image because Ryan's first image is showing the front cover too much.

Good quality covers made like this look good. The ones in this thread though may need improvement.

Lol I find it a bit funny that when some people try something different or move in a different direction, people often cringe. :rolleyes:

The best way to find out if something works or does well is by testing.

To me they seem Professional.

I am not a graphics designer and far from it.

This is a personal point of view. I don't like the one sided curved edge look. It might look good on the Internet, but it is not a natural feature seen in the offline world - at least I have not seen it. There is a devil of a cost to producing non standard shape boxes off line, which is why only some of the most popular product producers can afford to utilise such shapes.

If the design appeals to regular Internet users, then go with it. I just can't see it appealing to new Internet visitors (too different).

I appreciate that this is a trial of something different and I applaud that. If it is a success then I wish you well, but it just does not appeal to me, sorry - so as has already been posted - keep testing!

Such cover effective for certain niche or product. If your product is a software, then most likely it will be more effective.
