How to become a "REAL" Successful Internet Marketer.

Now Guys I was there spending hours on the computer in order to progress with my Internet Marketing Venture but after 8 hours in front of the Laptop most of the time I was feeling frustrated due to my unproductive day despite the number of hours I put into it.

This is the danger when you are embarking into the online industry as you are really tempted to click on the next Hot Topics and as a result you get overwhelmed and lose sight of what you are supposed to do to be successful.

Here my 5 recommendations you should follow in order to avoid this

1. Before starting take 5 minutes and write down your priorities for the day.

2. FOCUS on your priorities so don`t be tempted to surf the net.

3. I like taking 10 minutes break after every 50 minutes of work, in order to keep my concentration level`s high.

4. I am also trying to avoid working in front my computer too much. Why not going to a nice relaxed coffee shop and write your article or create your video script there.

5. Choose the best time to do your task. For example for me I am writing better first thing in the morning.

6. Turn off all social Medias and your phone deterring any distractions.

Finally when you have accomplished your Daily Tasks congratulate yourself.

I find by implementing these 5 Simple Steps it does help me immensely to growth my Internet Marketing Business but more importantly I am enjoying the whole process which is the reason why I wanted to be an Internet Marketer to fully enjoy the relaxed lifestyle.

I like these tips you posted and see you mentioned your laptop. For me, having a desktop computer to work on is huge for productivity. Dual 23 inch monitors and fast processing helps me work way faster than my laptop with just one screen and a slower processor.

        Yes, I 100% agree.

I started off marketing with a core 2 duo desktop.

Then I made some money and picked up a laptop. And then I realized I can't friggn type anything because all the keys on laptops are short and wide.

So I picked up a xenon desktop, put 2 screens together, hooked up file sharing between all computers... and eventually got a dedicated server to offload GSA and other tools.

I also work from home most the time. If I'm out in front of people I can't focus for a minute. And I always get more work done at home on my desktops.

that's a good post and here are 4 more tips to become an expert marketer :

    1.Do it : ( Starting Out )

Learning online marketing by doing , testing and tracking the results you get is the best way to learn it and become an advanced marketer. That’s because testing different strategies gives you the deepest knowledge you can get as you tried it yourself and already achieved results.

Even If you haven’t got the results that you were expecting this itself considered as a result because you know that this particular way doesn’t work for you and your business. So, when you share your knowledge in your blog you are qualified to say with confidence this is working and that doesn’t.

    2.Process it : ( Intermediate Knowledge)

Processing your steps to success happens after you find success with – for example- a traffic source that you tested and it worked like a charm for your business.

Basically what you do is to figure out a process that make it easier for you to quickly implement what you’ve learned to see results as soon as possible. In our case building a process to execute the traffic source that you mastered. Building Processes in your business is one of the best ways to achieve the “Work Smart Not Hard” Principle in your business where you can get to the point that you work 14 – 20 hours a week ( that’s only 2-3 hours a day) and achieve more success.

    3.Teach it ( Advanced Knowledge)

Teaching is one of my favorite ways to learn. Teaching other people will make you do deeper research in order to exceed your audience’s expectations so , they are satisfied with your product or service.

Also I’d like point to that learning by teaching MUST come after doing and processing as you become more knowledgeable in your subject.

    4.Ask – or get asked – About It :

This method of learning happens as a result of learning while you teach. As you may know there is no perfect product on the entire internet that covers all the audience want to learn. That’s why if they couldn’t understand something you explained they will send emails asking you to explain more clearly so , they can get your point. Then as a result you will either educate yourself more deeply about the topic or you will try to become a better presenter so you can deliver your point quickly more effectively.

Can you see the power of learning by asking or even getting asked more often ? In fact If you have a membership site and your students never ask you about anything then in such case there are
    only 2 possibilities :
    1.You are a GREAT teacher.
2.You are driving your students to sleep.

lionelfrench your 6 tips are good. I prefer to just create a daily marketing schedule and follow it everyday. That way i can get online, do my marketing, and get off, and go and chill for the rest of the day. Is my idea the best solution? No, but it works for me - and could probably work for alot of people on this forum. Nevertheless though, you have some good points.

      Exactly!

Life's good when you know exactly what you have to do.

It's really a shame how many people spend every spare moment trying to do a hundred things in their business when all they have to do is find the three or so things that work for them...and do those three things really well.

Took me a decade to figure that one out.

In all honesty, I believe in your belief of the "10 minutes of break" thing. It helps to kind of take your mind off of it in order to gain back the strength to do more of it later on. I think it works well for the brain.

Everything you said would make you a more disciplined person, but frankly if you love your job so much that you stop thinking of it as a job, you wouldn't have to "follow" rules. You can work in your bunny shoes and a gum in your mouth and still be as productive and efficient as a supercomputer and that too without breaks.
    Nice post by the way

    Hi,

Also I find that exercise and doing breathing exercises as soon as I get up
in the morning helps focus my mind and helps me stay centered and focused
on what I need to do for that day.

That plus having everything you need to do written down in front of you gives
you total clarification and peace of mind that you're doing the things that make
a difference to your business and the services you provide to others online.

    Best Regards,
    Gavin

The idea behind this is to reduce the number of hours of work to enjoy more life. I strongly believe when you are out of work you are putting your mind at rest and when you are back at work you are on fire and make things much quicker with a lot enthousiasm.
I also do agree with Galvin and gjabiz exercise and walking outside is a very good way to clear your head.
Thank you Guys to comment on my thread.
Have a nice day and make sure to take a break every 50 minutes.
OUPS I have 5 minutes left.

    Here's what I do:

    1. Work on an independent office that's not that far from home.
    2. List the tasks for the day
    3. Block out distractions
    4. Set time to rest (You're not perfect after all and there will be days when you'll be less active)

Also, don't aim for perfection. Aim for movement and you're on the right track.
