I am having a bigger success with my 1-year old clickbank authority site (not a review site) in health remedy niche. I noticed recently that I am having a good amount of traffic from Spanish-speaking countries and getting a number of sales from them.

I am planning to have all articles translated by a person and create a Spanish section on my site, and probably a German section in the very near future. Is this possible instead of creating a separate site/subdomain for Spanish and German languages? I understand can talk Spanish a little. Is this possible? thanks

Yes.

Whether it's necessary and profitable is another matter.

I also get traffic from Spanish-speaking countries (not surprising, really, when you think how many of them there are). I've always taken the view that potential subscribers who are in my target market to buy ClickBank products in English from sales pages written in English can also read my website content and emails in English.

If you're planning to sell ClickBank products in Spanish from sales pages in Spanish (of which there are currently 830 available), then of course that's a whole different ballgame.

  Yes it is a very nice idea to have a version of a website in Spanish and German so that local residents could avail your business information and you could get good sales. You can get sub domains to English version of your site

Yes Lexy, I want to correct myself. I will only translate articles with Spanish sales pages. I am now browsing CB marketplace and I'm amazed to find out the number of Spanish products. I will definitely invest a little into this new level. My site performance already exceeded my expectation, and this is really what I want..

  This is a great idea with the limitation being that your subdomain according to Google will be an entirely new domain which means your subdomain will not be able to rank as easily as your main domain does. Offering a translate button on your main domain or a subsection of your main domain might make getting free traffic easier.

Regarding possible profitability of targeting non-English markets when selling Clickbank products as a vendor or affiliaite -- Sorry, I don't have first hand experience in this, since we don't accept contracts at our multi-lingual call center for these types of campaigns...

Regarding the possibility of integrating various translation functions (for manual and / or machine translations) into your website and so on -- If your website is in WordPress, then you could get GTranslate Enterprise from www.gtranslate.net -- This will allow you to have an es.yourdomain.extension and / or a yourdomain.es (or other Spanish-speaking country domain extensions) that will store the translated versions of your articles in your server;

GTranslate also allows you to manually edit the translated versions of your articles and its page / post URLs, aside from providing machine translations via Google Translate. If you want, you can first machine-translate your articles before manually editing them;

GTranslate supports 58 languages. You can select the languages that you want for your website, display clickable flag icons for each country, display a dropdown language selector, and I think there's a cloud-based translation engine powered by manual edits done by other users; and

At £15 per month, it costs almost nothing...

Thanks for all the suggestions but would stay away from website translator. I prefer having the articles already translated manually for SEO purposes. About the subdomain, yes, I understand the rule. I'll just create another navigation bar for Spanish and German for easy access from all pages.
