Paypal - Question About The Buy Now Buttons

Hi Folks,

l bought a website which has 39 products for sale.
What l need to know is how do l change the buy now buttons on the site.

Do l need to change all of them or can l use the "add to cart" system instead. and use my paypal address.
lf yes how do l change from the previous owner.
l have tried doing this for the last 4-5 hrs and am probably further behind than when l started

Any help appreciated. Cheers Murray

Create new buy buttons in your own Paypal account. Grab the code for each individual offer (the link to the offer) either the "buy now button" code or the email code if you've got a custom image as your buy button and then "associate" that image with the link in your WYSIWYG editor.

EDIT: One more thing. Once you've got all your pay links in place delete the old buy now buttons.

As above warrior said, you can create new buttons from paypal and copy & paste the code into your web pages.

If you face problem to do this, you can buy a gig at fiverr to do this task.

Thats excellent advice you got there from Travlingguy, but I'd like to add that you also customize the look of your buttons to match with the esthetics of your site. If you want all buttons to look same, you can simply host an image on an URL and use that URL as "your own image" for the buttons while generating the code.

yes, like the folks mentioned , you need to first login to your paypal account. from there, create a new button and then you will find the code that you will need to insert inside the html (i think there is a php code as well in case you need that)

      Hi Folks,

Thanks to all the members who have tried to help me. Much appreciated.

Now l have spoken to the previous owner of the site and he gave me some advice as to how to change his paypal to mine in the files .l did this and after clicking all the way through on about 6 different products when the paypal screen came up there was my paypal address at the top.on all products. So what l am asking is what are the pitfalls in this method.

      Will this work.
Here is the website onlineseozone. com. This is my website now.

Sorry but l am not tech savvy.
l can see what to do but doing is another thing

      Cheers Murray
