What are the BEST tools for Internet marketers?

A good swipe file, and your imagination. (Imagination is even more important haha).

(You can have the best toolbox in the world... But if you have no imagination to put it to use? It's useless)...

Yeah. Sorry for finding an exploitative answer haha. But it's my honest opinion.

What works best for me is a good traffic generation system and autoresponders.. If you have these 2 in place.. you are in a good position to launch a successful business..

Just my 2 cents..

Why?

Well, let's see. Here's what I know and use ...

- LeadPages.net (Lead Generation Pages & Sales Pages).
- Thesis (Wordpress Theme).
- Aweber (Email Marketing).
- Basecamp (Projet Management).
- HighRise (CRM).
- Orkanizer (Pomodoro Time Management).
- Todoist (Task Management)
- Google Drive (Replaces Microsoft Office, Cloud Functionality).
- Wordpress (The Obvious).

And I think that's all ...

Of course, there are many alternatives. You have Zoho, you have Optimize Press, you have Genesis but I personally use the above.

A domain name - for branding your business
Wordpress - for blogging with paid web hosting plus plugins
Aweber - for list building
Adwords' Keyword Planner - for demand researching
Facebook + Twitter - for building good relationship to customers and also branding.

I prefer building things manually, however after some time for linkbuilding GSA
works pretty well. I would not recommend it for money sites or tier one links.

Starting out I would make sure you have hosting and an autoresponder. The next thing to pick up would be some sort of link tracking tool. Then you will need to do something to drive traffic either free or paid. You will eventually need to create landing pages or squeeze pages since direct linking can only get you so far.

Most likely you will end up investing in some automation tools but be sure that you're always focusing on making sales and not collecting things that like or buying courses on things you're interested in. This isn't a hobby it's a job that is where everyone gets it wrong. I literally spent weeks telling myself you have to stop treating this like a hobby. It's like quitting biting your nails you have to catch yourself and stop yourself.

Do this for you and invest in business tools that automate something that is already working, or conversion tools that help you increase sales, instead of buying fun toys. For the most part the tools have been the same for a while.

This tool for knowing when people have opened your emails. It integrates with your gmail/hotmail account. So you don't need aweber to know whether or not someone has read your emails.

I only found out about this tool recently, but if you're trying to set up JVs, or you're doing some email prospecting, it helps to know how many people have read your email, so that you can know what needs to be tweaked.

Personally, I'm primarily an offliner, so this is SUPER useful to me.

Good tools are for me are list building but in a special way. My brain lol and a good website for SEO. List building has to be the most effective way to make money.

That's a great question Ryan. And in my honest opinion I think it really all narrows down to list building. The problem with SEO is the fact that Google will continue to update their search engines unexpectedly. They will also continue to knock down sites that have great content and never think twice about it. Google is very harsh and untrustworthy. This is why I depend on list marketing.

Managing social media updates, Search engine optimization, Understand the customers search behavior, off-page back links analysis for SEO, On-page back links analysis for SEO, Google apps for business, Visual content tools and social media management are the best tools and it will help you in internet marketing.

My best tool so far is to keep away from people who regurgitate the sale old stuff, and keep an eye on people who really know what they're saying.

Most people here fall under the first category. Oh, well, nobody's perfect.

Wordpress. Tons of functionality. Loads of plugins. Free. Pure class.

Your own dedicated host
AutoResponder
Designers that can build good squeeze pages etc
Good marketing team or affiliates
Nice amount of start up cash always to buy ads etc.

Depending on your own skills you can cut some of those out but I would not recommend doing them all yourself youll easily run out of time.

Gsa, Serpwoo, xrumer are all you need for seo.

Keyword Discovery is my favorite one. However, it is expensive. OK so spy fu is down now. However, it is also a good one. Oh yes, key words are the key as we say.
