Default Can Blog Posts be Submitted to Article Sites

I have a blog that is full of unique content and it gets decent traffic. Was wondering if I took some of the posts and submitted them to EZA would the blog get dinged for duplicate content. Do I need to re-write the posts then submit to EZA? If so - how much re-writing needs to be done to avoid a google slap.

Any thoughts on how this works?

Djleon1,

I believe the rule is that you do not duplicate content. The whole purpose of articles is to drive traffic to your website/blog. It defeats the purpose for the reader to be directed from the article to your website/blog to read the exact same article. You would definitely experience some sort of slap for duplicating content. Am guessing you could probably re-purpose the content but never duplicate....hope this helps.

Duh - why didn't I think of that. Of course you are correct. Thank you for clearing it up for me.

djLeon1,

I submitted duplicate content once and it passed on EA but when I posted some blog content that was worded like I was talking about a product or service, then they told me to rewrite it to include informative text, not any type of recommendation style writing.

I agree with raining problems but also want to include that when you write your article that you leave it partially incomplete and lead them to find the rest of their answers by visiting you site.

Simply making a YouTube video and an EA with the same keywords and having links back to my blog has made my blog show up on first page Google rankings within a couple days for those specific keywords.

So when you rewrite your blog content, you can rewrite some of the titles to the blog posts and then make a quick YouTube video with the same title and make sure you create a link back to your blog in the video description.

Duplicate conent is a myth .. You would get no such slap...

1. It has been posted many times over to first post your article to your own site/blog and then post it to other directories after you get it indexed on your site.

2. You do not have to link directly back to the same article on your blog. Link to a squeeze page or another similar related post.

3. Blog post can be easily turned into articles, it is just text after all.. You may need to increase the length of text depending upon your blog post.
