You may not get too many responses, but you've asked the most appropriate question. I've said it time and time again- you need traffic!

People want to focus on tricks, software, "hidden secrets" and all of this nonsense- but none of that matters if no one is there to hear your targeted message.

If you search "traffic" on this site, you might get some ideas. But it really depends on what you are doing. You can either pay for traffic or work for it- or a combination of both.

Hi BzQ,

Traffic? what is he going to do with traffic without an offer in place? as a newbie you need to know what these things are.

Domain, hosting, Clickbank, CPA, Squeeze page, funnel,TRAFFIC, Autoresponder, SEO.

Once you have a good understanding of these things, you will need to find a system that works for you and Stick to it.

In addition to the links posted above, and using the forum search tool to find the broad informational threads, the bold part of your post seemed like a good place for you to start to me.

If you are good at writing copy, have experience and skills in it, then I'd leverage that. You don't have to look hard to see how other people who are good at copywriting are making money online. They are:

1. Selling their copywriting skills for a fee. See the warriors for hire section. Someone who can't make a sales page as compelling as you can would be willing to pay a premium since it will increase their bottom line.

2. Teach others to improve their copywriting. This can be anything from WSO's to ebooks to online coaching classes or seminars. Your creativity is the only barrier for how you do this, but if you can show others your process and really help them become better at copywriting they will be willing to pay for your guidance.

3. Using your copywriting skills to sell other products. This is kind of an obvious suggestion but if you are good at writing that makes people buy stuff, find other people's products to promote and sell these.

The biggest tip I can give you is to know and accept what you are good at and what you can do and what you will rely on others for. You can always find a way to outsource or leverage other people's assets to make up for deficits in your own abilities.

Since you're a marketer already, all you need to do is learn how to operate on this new platform. Here are the changes:

1. Physical store --> website
2. Mailers / flyers --> emails
3. Print / TV ads --> Website Banner Ads / YouTube videos

Depending on your tech skills, make a list of the things that you can set up on your own, and the things that you need to outsource. For outsourcing, you can try "Warriors for Hire" or Freelancer.com

Here's a quick & simple set up:
1. Decide on your niche after proper research
2. Choose a product on ClickBank, Amazon or any other affiliate market
3. Create Blog / website with a good squeeze page to collect name and email of prospective customers
4. Send loads of traffic to the page using paid advertising.
5. Start small. Test and track things. Tweak stuff to improve results. Then scale things up.
