Question for PDF experts

Is it possible to make PDF to "load" picture from external web site once it has been opened, instead of having image embedded in it?

Idea is to make PDF to render some of it content from external website.

    Yes it is possible.

I was looking at writing a script to create pdfs "on the fly" with php.

That project got put on the back-burner as I have other stuff to finish.
But I am pretty sure its possible.

Yes, it is possible. But I've found that Flash/AS3 is faster and easier. Coincidentally I'm playing with it right now... generating PDFs online.

    Hi Gleb,

Yes with the power of Flash in your PDF you can load remote images or even stream videos as shown in this thread

      Hi Sean,
Well, when i open such document I get Adobe reader 8 warning:
"You have opened a document that contains Adobe Flash multimedia content. You can set options.... to allow ..."
This is actually not what i want.
I want PDF to automatically render image from external source without any warnings.

I believe this is something to do with security settings on your user's computer and hence would be next to impossible to circumvent. Anyone?
