I've heard you can insert your keyword into the product URL to make a super URL that increases your rankings on Amazon lists. Does anyone know how to make these?

I'd like to know as well.

If you do a search on amazon for "yoga mat" and then click on one of the yoga mats in the serps, i believe the keyword is retained somehow in the following url. I've also seen an ad on adwords for a garcinia cambogia product that i believe used a "super url" because when I clicked the ad and was taken to amazon, keywords were already populated in the amazon search box and url for certain relevant keywords when I arrived there.

Check for yourself by paying attention to the amazon url as you search keywords and then click on products from the serps.

What do you think about my guess??

I'd be interested if anyone has real results from testing this in practice.

superURLs are amazing tool to improve search ranks for specific keywords. Unfortunately Amazon's new TOS states

"You may not intentionally manipulate your products' rankings, including by offering an excessive number of free or discounted products, in exchange for a review. "

And superURL is pretty much exactly it - manipulation of your product's ranking

I'd like to describe and discuss further but unfortunately I am not at liberty to do so as I am not the originator of the method. It doesn't "belong" to me and i have a moral obligation to the person who created it.

Sorry I can't go further but at least you know it can be done and that it works (very well).

      Good luck with your ventures.
I've heard of this method also, and every time I hear of it, people say it's legit and it works. BUT, I guess you also run the risk of violating Amazon's TOS. So, it's a 'use at your own risk' type of method I suppose.
