HELP! Ezine keeps rejecting my author photo...

I didn't want to use my photo alone so I read what was allowed. I did some photo effect where it puts my photo in an object and I get the standard response that the photo has to be of me. They had said drawings and or non -photo images were allowed if it was of me - well I'm in there, so I don't get it. Is it that my photo can't be in an object? For example, an ocean but the waves of the ocean have my face clearly in it. Thanks for your help!
