Hi, I'm a bit confused as to how to convert traffic from myspace to my site... I currently use Friends Adder software to request mass friends. Ok, so I request targeted ppl. My site is a dating site so I choose "Single" ppl. Lets say I request 100 ppl, 70 will accept me. Once they go on myspace profile, my profile is pretty well designed and has links to my actual site. Problem is, it's not converting into members. I know that most who view the profile click to my site, but never sign up. My site looks very professional and registration is free..Don't know why it's not converting if it's targetted traffic... Another thing im confused about is: When I leave comments on other profiles, should I link the picture I post on the comment to my profile or directly to my site?... ![]() Any feed back would be great...Thanks.. |

Judging by your sig, they probably aren't pre qualified... being "single" doesn't mean you want to go to an over 18 hookup site (i didn't actually look at your site so forgive me if i am mistaken) Maybe the benefits of your site aren't clear enough... after all why should they join a site they haven't heard of before, if they can go to eharmony instead... being financially FREE is not enough motivation to do something that takes TIME. who has time to be an active member on several sites? so maybe work on the landing page, improve explaining your benefits, communicating the value of signing up? also... your myspace page might be obvious spam. they might just be clicking through to get a laugh. just telling you this idea from my experiences on the OTHER SIDE. i lived the life of a non-internet marketer. you guys can seem really shady and ridiculously spammy... watch it. |

Thanks for the reply....The site has a lot of value on it. In fact, the sites im competing with don't have as many features as mine...The niche in it's self is very well among the interest of singles....The sites I see similar to mine have millions and millions of free subscribers. My lading page has a good description of the value the site offers free...I just can't covert..

Hey Lynks7, social networks are for social networking and you can only influence your traffic by creating relationships with them. Igor |

Social Networks is a great place to network and convert traffic. First you need to be focus on truly helping people and building relationships. Once you start doing this with people best interest at heart conversion will come easy.
