Hi,

How should I go about for finding a book editor?

This is for a printed book so I need someone to check it, proof it, edit it and generally, eliminate most errors.

What should the budget should be if the book is around 100 pages?

Thank you,
Razvan

Look up Wendy Burt-Thomas. Have worked with her on several projects and she is excellent. As a published author herself, she knows what it takes to put out something great.

    Thank you all

I know that this is off-topic but what is your experience with publishing on Lulu.com? What about other providers? I want to self-publish both for Amazon and in print, using the book in print for networking purposes.

@RBTMarshall - I'm a sales copywriter. I keep a read-proffer full time on staff to check my copy. My focus is on strategies to sell more, faster, easier and not so much on perfect English.

And with all due respect to my proffer, I need someone better who understands how to edit a book for print. I've got a great PM though from someone so this topic may have reached its goal.

    Darrel - Great article.

I have a Lulu account but haven't used it for selling books. I have used Amazon's Createspace. It wasn't difficult and if you're doing an ebook you can link the ebook to the print version. The Createspace author copy wasn't expensive and arrived quickly for me to look over before giving final approval for it to go on sale.
