I'm an affiliate that markets using EZine articles, etc. I am wondering if I now have to say in my articles that I am paid by the product's maker or service I am touting in my articles? Because I am new to the WF, I cannot post links. Please google "FTC plans to monitor blogs" and see the Associated Press article They are going to monitor Twitter as well |

I am not a lawyer but no, there's generally no requirement to disclose that you may be compensated for clicks to something you link to. What is prohibited and always has been is false, misleading, and deceptive. You can say "this product is great because shows you how to lose weight and make money," you can't say "I made $5,000 a day and lost 35 pounds using this product" unless you've got bona fide evidence to back those claims.

Yes, you should go back to working for the government or a government controlled unionized corporation. Forget this Internet and small business entrepreneurial stuff. It only leads to illegal activities like making money for yourself and it doesn't benefit your fellow citizens.
