How to solve this Internet Marketing problem?

I get to know that thing on the Internet changes so fast, that what works 3 months ago may not even work now. May I know how do we solve this problem?

Thanks.

I mean... is there any resources out there like a website (let us say in the dating niche)... to know what is working and what is not?

      I am a newbie. Thanks.

You can't "solve" it. You have to accept it as the reality of being in business (not just IM). A few things you can do are:

-- diversify your business. Don't put all your eggs in one marketing method or income stream. If one goes off the rails, you're not stuck at ground zero.

-- be careful of "the latest buzz." Remember QR codes? Just because media and marketers are all saying something is "the way of the future" or a "disruptive technology" doesn't make it so.

-- don't churn and burn. If you're selling something, don't just make the sale and then abandon the buyer. Look at buyers as long-term assets to be nurtured. If you have good relationships and happy, long-term customers, you'll weather most changes in how IM works.

      Best of luck!

Things really don't change that quickly.

What works in any niche is to get targeted traffic to whatever you are promoting. People keep looking for this magic secret, and there is none. Either spend money buying traffic, or spend a lot of time getting in front of the eyes of your target market.

NO, not really. I've been uging email since 1985. As of this morning, Warrior Forum Guru Igor K. said it is the current and best way to make money online.

Nothing new about email. What changes? People's wants and needs don't.

Sure, platforms like FaceBook Twitter, Instangram, Linked in have their time, but like AOL, CompServe, MySpace, et.al had theirs.

But, just keep building a list and you never have to worry about what changes.

PS. I once had 3 networks to choose my TV from. NOW, I don't need a TV or a cable service to watch shows I want.

Some things change like that, yes.

    Other things don't.

Avoiding any business model which is dependent on Google (or on any other individual company) can help to move the odds in your favor. Businesses which depend on SEO for their primary traffic are overwhelmingly more likely to be temporary than businesses which don't.

There are also some highly successful online business models which have been more or less unchanged since the internet began. And some which have been more or less unchanged even since long before that (but can still be used very successfully online).

I agree very substantially with this, too. Email isn't disappearing, and the only people who think it is are those with a commercially vested interest in promoting "social media", or "texting", or whatever else. A list-based business is an asset-based business.

The most fundamental aspects of internet marketing haven't changed that much the last years. If you can master this you are well on your way:

-> Send targeted traffic to a capture page to collect email addresses
-> Build a solid sales funnel
-> Test and tweak your funnel until it becomes profitable, then scale.
    -> Rinse and repeat.

These are the most fundamental aspects of an online business imo. All the rest is just a small percentage of success stories that aren't worth pursuing yourself.

    So stick to the basics

The more things change, the more they stay the same

Very well said. Stick to the basics. Your list is Golden at anytime. You provide value to your subscribers and build the trust with them. Then they will buy any of your recommendations.

Well....the core strategies never change but yes certain things do adapt. My recommendation is to be a sponge and try to soak in as much new information as you can, without getting information overload.

The answer this problem is very simple info 126. Just don't put all of your eggs into one basket. You have to learn how to explore your horizon and dabble in different opportinities. You will find that you will remain mostly on the profit margin.

focus on the principles.. To many people are looking for the loophole or the shiny gizmo..

Principles don't change, I have been running my business almost the exact same way since I started 7 years ago...

If the internet were to up and vanish tomorrow I'd be fine... If facebook closed it's doors I'd be fine..

Focus on learning the principles of business and marketing that have been around since before Ben Franklin was selling his Farmers Almanac thru direct response.

Principles cannot and will not change...
