Dealing with JVZoo getting frustrating. Best alternative?

I'm starting to get really frustrated with JVZoo. I submitted a product on Sunday early morning. Of course, it needs to be approved...which is a good thing. 24 hours later they send me an email saying they need access to the membership area which is fair. So I send an email with the credentials. 36 hours later, no response so I open a support ticket explaining that I didn't want to be a pain but 36 hours have passed since their last email...in the support ticket I include a copy of their email request, the copy of my response with the credentials, my login email address, AND a link to the actual product.. I get a response from support asking which product I need approval for. ARGH. Read the ticket!

I only have one product and I included the link. I respond to that email and now almost another 24 hours and no response. And of course no number to phone. Looks like it's going to be at least a week to get a product live.

I'm new to being the vendor as opposed to being the affiliate, so I don't know what's normal from a response time perspective. However, I'd have thought I could get a product listed in a day or two.

So....what do you recommend as a platform for adding a product. Is Clickbank better from a turnaround perspective and how does it compare?

Thanks

** DISCLAIMER ** This is just my personal experience with Clickbank, so take it with a grain of salt. Also, I have no experience with JVZoo so I can't compare the two.

Having said that, at one time I had about 5 or 6 products hosted with Clickbank. I don't recall any of them taking more than a week to approve, but yes, it can take that long. Remember, they have to actually go through your product AND you sales page to make sure it complies with their regulations.

However, I have never had the problem you've had where after this much time they couldn't even get to looking at the product and had no idea what it even was or where to find it. This suggests to me a smaller operation than Clickbank that is probably going through some growing pains due to an increase in business.

From a longevity and stability point of view, you're probably better off going with Clickbank. However, Clickbank also has a stigma associated with it that JVZoo doesn't have yet. A lot of affiliates won't promote Clickbank products for a number of reasons that I won't get into here. Conversely, I am sure there are people who won't promote JVZoo products because they're a newer company and not as proven.

I am also going to be faced with having to choose an affiliate marketplace for an upcoming non MMO product. Honestly, I don't know who I want to go with at this time. There is a lot I don't like about Clickbank. But I also know so little about JVZoo I'm afraid to trust my product to an unknown. Needless to say, this won't be an easy decision for me so I can understand what reservations you might have either way.

This is not a perfect world, unfortunately and I am sure that no matter who you go with there are going to be downsides. For one, Clickbank is so much bigger and has such a bigger marketplace, the chances of your product being seen there, without you doing actual promotion to get affiliates, are slim to none. You will be a flea in a sea of stuff. I doubt JVZoo is as big so you might have better visibility there. Not sure how big a difference but it has to be at least some.

Like I said, not a perfect world. So choose your poison and don't look back. If worse comes to worse, you can always remove your product from one marketplace and put it with another if you have serious problems with the one after a period of time.

Yeah it might be a little complicated if you're launching your first product on Jvzoo, but all in all i really like that platform.

I don't have experience selling through clickbank though, but warriroplus is probably the best alternative.
