Successful podcasting anyone?

I was wondering if anyone here uses their own podcasts to get traffic and if so, is it worthwhile?

    I'm a big proponant of podcasting, and I am currently working in several niches with podcasts on the front end as community and list builders.

    Paul Colligan is probably my favorite podcasting "guru", but I am only a consumer of his free stuff and haven't actually bought his training. He does a great job of producing Internet Marketing This Week with Ed Dale.

    If it is done right, it can literally be the only source of traffic you may need depending on your niche.

      Thanks a ton for the information. I will look into it further. The thing is, I haven't really find marketing method that I enjoy doing but I think I could make this work.

    If you record and edit audio, the jump to video is pretty easy if you use the audio soundtrack as a production plan, and throw animated bullet text presentation based on the dialogue.
