How Good Are Free Giveaways Really

Hi Fellow Warriors,

I've just completed my new product and was looking around for ways to promote it.

I came across these free giveaway events which promise an influx of new members.

Warriors can you help...

Im going to test an offer which goes live in 2 days and post the results to this thread.

What are your experiences with giveaway events and do you recommend taking part in them.

P.S. Take Some Time And Do The Poll Please

    Hey Malachi,

Giveaways always promise thousands upon thousands of subscribers for you, but it's all bullcrap.

To get thousands of subscribers with giveaways nowadays, you either have to:
    1) Get your gift on the front page of one of the biggest giveaways of the year
    or...
    2) Run your own.

And even with running your own, you're going to need to do it properly, otherwise it'll flop and you'll end up with a couple hundred people when it's all said and done.

I don't even join giveaways anymore unless the welcome pages are unique (i.e. not the same stupid template). Usually, the signs of a good giveaway are: a well known person at the helm, good graphics, ginormous JV contest, unique welcome page, and the usual suspects (i.e. heavy hitters) topping the leaderboards.

The quality of giveaway subscribers is pretty good...but you can expect them to unsubscribe in droves if you try to sell too much stuff to them.

    Good luck,
    Curtis
